Rosebud Fair parade

Saturday morning of the pow wow was a huge parade and this one was in honor of elders. Hayes hurried to get dressed in her regalia to go with her Good Shield cousins. Grandma Bubbles had to put on her war paint.
Chooj comforts cousin Leah because she was crying before the parade.

This foal followed its mother all around the pow wow grounds without any lead line. It was too cute!

This rider sports the traditional Lakota moptop instead of porcupine roach most dancers wear on the head.
End of the parade:

The girls pet the babies given to some elder women at the pow wow. They will probably sell them to make some money.
