Weekly wrapup: the week post "school"

I kind of didn't know what to do with ourselves this week, what with not having a plan for some sort of studies. Our homeschooling friends Holly, Riley, Maya and Seth were going to Wild Wednesdays so we wanted to see them. Unfortunately for us, it was a barn animal presentation and I'd driven an hour to see the same stuff we see everyday, BUT we did get to play with our friends so that made it all worthwhile.

Hayes milked a goat. That was a first.
And I liked this full grown pig - it's not a pot bellied pig. It's just the way they're being bred now, the farmer said.
We came home and Chooj stole my new shirt from my new favorite game Farmtown on Facebook. I finally got it back and wore it two days straight.
Hayes has been doing a "report" from this Ripley's Believe It or Not book I got her at the library. I just like seeing how her writing has improved.
And Chooj has been taking a cue from Hayes and got in bed to read to his Webkinz monkey. (The "J" keeps falling off the wall for his name)
Alex and I went to see "Angels and Demons" and dropped the kids at the sitter service where Hayes got this beautiful butterfly facepainting. It suits her.
We've also spotted a raccoon in our pasture for two nights. We figure it has a lair down in the creek and is hunting. The dogs treed it tonight but it got away before Alex could get the camera.
