In our homeschool, I keep track of what we do as school work to make the 175 days the county school district requires, plus I record all the field trips and books Hayes reads.
So I just printed out her reading log for her school year. Mind you, these are chapter books. She reads at a 7th grade level at only 8 years of age and I don't take into account the numerous times she rereads the Harry Potter books.
Here's the total for 175 days: 298 books.
I love having a reader!!
