Lapbook: 2nd grade mini-office

Hayes will leave for a pow wow at Haskell University in Kansas later this week with her grandparents. Her grandmother will have a booth set up selling gourds she's made. In order to keep up with schooling, I made Hayes a "2nd Grade Mini-Office" in which she has all pertinent information she may need to refer to during school work. I glued together three legal sized manila folders that can be folded and compressed into one legal size folder. In it are references to: the solar system, days of the week and months of the year with respective abbreviations, vowels and consonants, how to spell words, an addition family fact chart, punctuation, what constitutes a noun, verb and pronoun, 100 chart, place value, multiplication table, shapes, tally marks, money and order words. That should do it.

I usually leave "reply" comments on my blog, but I just had to come visit yours and see your mini-office. It looks fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing the link and for your wonderful comments on my blog.
