Usually I'm the one taking riding pictures so when we went riding with my friend Tracy and her husband Jeff the other week, I was all go for a photo opp. Tracy let me ride her mare, Ariel, who Tracy said decided to be a little fractious with me, but I took it as normal horse behavior.
Tracy and Jeff have a rolling 18 acres plus permission to ride on their neighbor's property so it was a nice ride on a beautiful fall day.
Of course, we have to have pictures of Hayes using the stump to get on Hank.
She has been taking him over a fallen log in the pasture, trotting him and actually got him to canter on this day. So proud of her!
