Not Back to School "nekkid schooling" edition

Clothes? Who needs 'em!
Since it's been warm, the kids have remained mostly unclothed through summer and it continues now that our days are more structured with schooling. Since we're in the country, who cares if the kids are naked?

Our days start with a few minutes of math. It's cool today so the naked students are wearing bathrobes for the time being. This is followed by history, which this year begins with the Middle Ages.
Hayes is working on cursive writing everyday too.
We mix it up throughout the week: Mondays is Outdoor Nature Hour, every other Tuesday is our homeschool group's "Wonder of Science" gathering, Wednesday is art day, Thursday is human body study and Friday is 50 State Friday and language day, where we study Spanish, Cherokee or Lakota.
Chooj is working on capital alphabet letters with lots of glue involved, cutting and other small motor skills, sorting and group, art and gross motor skills like jumping and kicking balls.
For the last installment of "Not Back to School," visit My 3 Boy Barbarians.

On your fifty states work have you studied Alaska yet? We could send you some really neat Alaska stuff. We could still send you some stuff even if you have already studied it. Also the Iditarod passes right through our town and it may be fun to follow it and see where it passes through Unalakleet.
