Quicky Keeneland

We took a quick trip through Keeneland Race Course today. Racing is done here until fall and everything else was closed for Memorial Day but we got to play in the starting gate. I've never seen one up close!
And we weighed ourselves on the jockey scale. Here Hayes weighs in at 70 pounds. I won't post the other pictures of me and Alex on it.
Then I had to take this picture of the winner from one of the 2007 races. It's a colt owned by Shadwell Stables, whom my late friend Bob Witham in Camden trained for.
And we took this family picture next to the race course. Hayes jumped onto the course just to say she'd been on a race course. She still wants to be a jockey.
