Alex and I volunteered to host the Kentucky Derby party at our church yesterday. We prepared turkey hash from Martha Stewart's own Derby party and both alcoholic and non alcoholic mint juleps (no one touched the non-alcoholic stuff).
Well, as luck would have it (luck always prevails at the Derby), Hayes ended up splitting the winning derby pick of Mine That Bird and came home with $33! I'd given her the dollar to bet with so I got a $10 return.
