Reluctant soccer mom
When Hayes was 4, she took a soccer/t-ball class and ever since she has bothered me to play soccer. So here we are four years later and she is in a league. There's practice twice a week and games every Saturday through June.
I truly did not want to be a soccer mom.
And now look:
Chooj, at 2, is dribbling the ball pretty well and he can go into a league at 3.
Sigh. I foresee a long, dark endless array of soccer Saturdays in my future.
Hayes' league had its first game Saturday and got clobbered 5-1. They only had three practices. Making excuses already. Maybe I'll be a good soccer mom.

Oooh! I think I have a "Soccer Mom" fold up chair you can have! Seriously, it's great exercise and lessons in teamwork. Not a bad thing for any kids - though yours are already ahead of the game!
Ha! Being a Soccer Mom isn't too bad, except for all the Saturdays being tied up for the games...I'm currently a Baseball Mom. Probably will put on the Soccer Mom hat in the fall. *sigh*
