As always, when we are in SC, we have to make a visit to Charleen and Mason's. They have the BEST place in the woods where the barred owls make frequent visits. We were invited to meetup with their friend's daughter, Louise, who happens to be the wife of my high school friend, Charles. They brought their three children and a good time was had by all,
especially involving the neighbor's poultry festival jalopy.
Charles and Louise have dubbed Hayes "The Lizard Whisperer" because she was catching green anoles left and right. Here I am taking a picture of her bowl full of lizards.
