As I sit here wasting time on the computer this morning, I am watching a bluebird pair making a nest in the bluebird box stationed along the spare pasture. I am really excited. I got a picture of the male yesterday and Hayes collected insects for them in the late afternoon.
Also while we were out yesterday, surprisingly, some screech owls were calling in the late afternoon. What gives?
It's supposed to be an extraordinary day today. We'll be outside for most of it.
