Sleep well, sweet kitty

Last night our kitty Creamsicle was run over. Our house sits close to the road and people drive pretty fast on it. We put up a fence to try to keep our creatures in but they do like to run into the woods across the street and I'm guessing that's how Creamsicle met her demise. We don't even have a picture of her - she was a fluffy blonde cat. Alex picked her up in September with two of her litter mates. She was a little skittish but would venture into the house every now and then.
I guess to help ease our sadness, a little gray kitty showed up this week. I saw her lying in a sunspot in the hay. She's very skittish too, but Hayes has caught her and traumatized her by bringing her in the house. The other cats accepted her like no big deal and she certainly knows when it's feeding time. I've named her "Little Gray."
Just last week, we had to put one of our other kitties down. He was so sick. He'd never gained any weight from when Alex brought him home in August and he's probably better off.
Sadly, our pet cemetery grows.
