Old Man River!

Take a gander at my previous post "Why are we outside when it's minus2?" I made an offhand remark like,"I can't imagine the creek flooding."
Well, looky here: it's December. It only rained during the night and this morning. We're not even talking spring rains yet. I think I might be eating my words for Christmas lunch.

I've included a "before" picture of us walking through the weeds of the creek to Peeper Island around the beginning of October. And now you can see Peeper Island is actually an island today.
