Saturday night I went on the porch and was wondering which dog that was in the horse pasture when I suddenly realized it was a big fat raccoon! I got the family and we all stood out and watched it, knowing that was the guinea-eater.
Alex finished fencing more pasture and Hank was turned out with The Girls. We'd hoped Spellbound would take to bossing him and leave Lisa alone but both Spell and Hank boss Lisa, the biggest horse in the pasture. Weird.
Tonight when I went out to hang laundry, the dogs took off hell bent for leather and I was like,"What?" There was a doe in the middle of the horse pasture and they chased her off. Alex saw large deer tracks in the creek and I saw two crash through the creek when we were back fencing.
