This week marks the second bulk buying trip for cleaning supplies. I rarely, if ever, use chemicals in this house to clean. I hate the smell, for one, and, two, just don't trust them to protect the people and pets while getting rid of germs and dust. That may account for why there is so much dust in my house, but I digress.
During today's regular shop, I bought 4 gallons of white vinegar, 4 large boxes of baking soda, 3 large bottles of rubbing alcohol, 1 large box of kosher salt, a box of Borax and a bar of Fels-Naptha soap. All of this is added to my regular supply of vinegar and baking soda.
Since we're almost out of laundry detergent, I plan to try making my own, which is why I bought another bar of Fels-Naptha. I also bought a box of washing soda. I'll let you know how it goes.
