"Angels singing ... "

Today was our church service led by the Women Singing in Sacred Circle and facilitated by Shelley Graff (pictured in blue shirt). Our group meets once a month and started about 15 months ago. I've been part of it for a year after my friend Jennifer invited me. This service was about how the circle started, women's experiences in it and lots of singing.
I mentioned that I was thankful to have an outlet in which to play my drum and learn new songs. As a Cherokee, the drum is central to my experiences and I said that life gets in the way of playing her so the Singing Circle gives me a chance to retreat and replenish, making me a little better person for the next few days (I hope).
Many people afterwards commented how much they loved the service!
I really like the women in our Cincinnati group and we sang together today with the Columbus Singing Circle. Here I'm singing a River Song by Brooke Medicine Eagle and you can see the girls were really rockin' behind me!
