Outdoor Nature Hour: flowerless plants

We have joined up with a homeschooling blog project, entitled "Outdoor Nature Hour." Today our assignment was to look for flowerless plants: mushrooms and ferns. Well, it's not the best time to seek out ferns, although I remember some ground pine at our house in Georgia during winter, but we found a few mushrooms today. We'll have to look up names for them, although Hayes deemed this orange-ish one "suction cup."
