Here is Big Lisa, our Percheron, trying out the run-in shed, which is still a work in progress. Our tractor likes to break down when a job is only halfway through, so here, of course, it went on the fritz after scraping out only half of the shed. You see that Lisa barely makes it. I suppose Hank the pony can stand on the other side because Spellbound, our other full-sized horse, manages to squeeze in there with Lisa too.

Why does Big Lisa have her eyes covered? Is she photosensitive??? Dumb question, I know, but I'm just a-wonderin'!
It is a fly mask. Just keeps the flys out of their eyes.

Big Lisa is a beauty! I have renewed fascination with the talents of Percherons. There is a fairly huge one (not that any are particularly small) at the dressage barn where I ride, and you should see Sophie get round, and bend, and do her routine. She's a graceful ballerina!
