Through Craigslist, I met a former Turfway Park jockey and we got on famously for the hour I was in her house! She invited me to a ready by leading female jockey Kris Prather (that's her in the photo from her website www.krisprather.com) today at Starbucks so Chooj and I went briefly before he decided to melt down. I did buy her book and would like to take Hayes back next week to actually hear readings! It's so much fun to be around horse racing people!
Alex and Hayes zoomed to 4 Feathers Farm to get Lisa's tractor implements she loaned us last year and return them to her and get a bunch of stuff we need around our Falmouth farm. We again missed getting our farm gates that we loaned to a Tennessee neighbor. Sigh ... we'll make another attempt sometime.
