I may rue the day I came up with this but Hayes found a scroll tucked in the bushes outside of the apartments yesterday. It was a letter from Professor McGonagall inviting her to take part in the summer correspondence course. Now all Hayes can say is she never knew she was a witch but she can cause things to happen if she thinks about it and can speak to snakes, etc., etc.
She is putting her reply scroll in the bushes tonight that she wants to take part in the classes and has chosen Potions, Care of Magical Creatures (Fairies) and Transfiguration. I'd hoped for something easy like herbology or astronomy. Oh well.
