King Tut exhibit at Indianapolis Children's Museum

We started our trip to South Dakota Tuesday, a week ago, and let the children burn off energy by stopping at the Indianapolis Children's Museum to see the exclusive King Tut exhibit. While I can't show you any pics from the relics displayed from Tut's tomb for the first time anywhere, I can show you a bit of this and that from around the museum.
Our homeschooling studies last year were on the Ancients and Hayes informed us this statue was the god Anubis and, by golly, she was right!

There were miniature displayes of the great pyramids and of the sphinx.
And the kids got to "write" in Arabic the words for "peace" and "celebration". Did you know Arabic is written from right to left?

And then there were dinosaurs, which, for the kids, was the most exciting part of the museum.
