Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss

Every week I have my homeschool plan. Sometimes Hayes asks me what we're doing for the day so I decided to put my plan in writing on the chalkboard walk.
Then something happens to blow the plan.
Like Dr. Seuss's birthday, which was yesterday. As a good homeschooling mom, I adapt my plan. I helped Chooj make a wocket in a pocket after we read the book.
Then we played Save the Whos! Using chopsticks, Hayes and Chooj transferred cotton balls (the Whos) to a bowl. I think Chooj had the harder time and he took to stabbing the Whos and ultimately just carrying one to the bowl.

She then had some multiplication to work on and Chooj sat down to work on whatever it is he was working on.
