Swim, cat, swim!

We waked today to lots of snow on the ground. Out we went! Of course, explorations take us down into our creek and as we were looking around, we heard a "craaack" then "splash!" I thought it was one of the puppies but it was Pretty Kitty! First she swam one way then another and finally back to her original plan. She seemed to take it in stride when she got out and we let her come inside to get warm. Poor ol' kitty.

I was sure we would be able to sled on cookie sheets but the snow was too powdery. The kids tried their best. Do you see Chooj getting ready to throw a snowball at me? "Unitsi, catch!" he said.



And you can see how much snow we got from the looks of it on the trampoline.
After our adventures, it was time to warm up inside and have hot chocolate and marshmellows.
