The first lessons arrive by owl

Hayes checked her tree mail this morning and found lessons for the Care of Magical Creatures-Fairies from Professor Flidias Lightwing. She has several questions to answer out of Professor Lightwing's "Care of Fairies" textbook and four projects to complete before Friday. Her personal fairy is keeping a watch on her and will report progress to the professor during the week.
